    Long time no post

    I’m back

Looking back through my blog I can see I last wrote here two years ago.  Life has taken over and got busy! When I started writing my book , I hoped to be published by now.  Complications of life, family  children all have priority over my ever busy schedule.

    My writing

So hoping to get back into it properly. I am now sat typing on my phone while watching my two children swimming.   I had hoped to write something today but the house and my daughters messy bedroom took priority.

So what am I up to?

Still writing www.justmuddlingthroughlife.co.uk I have written this month for BlogBattle, and the writers Unite photo prompt.  I am also helping two children now 10 and 12 with their homework and any issues.  Plus working and being an active mum.   We are also walking as much as possible trying to raise awareness and fundraise for Pancreatic Cancer since losing my dad in November 2020.

    My book

Still in draft form my book about an ordinary house wife given an unbelievable job, one that will change everything, is sat in my one drive at about 75000 words.  It needs a complete rewrite now and looking over again.  Some people have said this is an impossible task with work and children. I’m starting to agree with them.  However if I don’t finish it then my story will not get read.  I need to finish it.

    Momentum and routine

I think routine is important and with work and everything I lost this.  I need to get it back.

Any suggestions on how I do this? I need to keep going and push on through, but when my children need me then they come first.

Have any of my readers managed this?  Written a book with the demands of a young family? First time I’ve written a blog post at the swimming pool on my mobile phone.

I will just keep going as best as I can.
